Pannonia Terranova had a pleasure to be a host of Summer School “Domovina” for one evening.

“33 second and third generation Croatian from the US, Canada, Australia, Argentina, South Africa, and Peru as part of the Homeland Summer School this Friday had the opportunity to learn about the cultural and historical heritage and natural beauty of the Osijek-Baranja County. This two-week project, during which participants traveled throughout the Republic of Croatia, was organized with the aim of strengthening the Croatian identity and global networking of young people.

The project was organized by the Central State Office for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, in coordination with the Osijek-Baranja County and the University of J.J. Strossmayer in Osijek.
There is a strong connection between the Croatian emigrants and their homeland, and projects like these are a great way to make this connection especially for young people so that they can always inherit the heritage of Croatian identity, and one day they may decide to return to their homeland! That’s why #OBZ will continue to support programs like this!”
